Where is my data stored?

Your data is stored exclusively in Switzerland, in high-security, certified data centres with triple-redundant storage to ensure availability and durability. It is not processed or routed through infrastructure operated by major US or international cloud providers. Swiss data protection law applies.

Does SecureSafe offer a free trial?

Yes. All self-serve plans — Starter, Professional, and Business — include a 14-day free trial. You can explore the full capabilities of your chosen plan before your subscription begins.

What makes SecureSafe different from other password and file management solutions?

SecureSafe combines password management and secure file storage in a single, modular platform. All data is encrypted, remains under your control, and is stored exclusively in Switzerland. You choose the modules your organisation needs SecureSafe Pass, File, both as a Bundle, Exchange or Postbox.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan at any time?

Yes. You can upgrade your plan at any time and the change takes effect immediately. Downgrades are applied from the start of the next billing period.

What happens if I exceed my available storage?

If you reach your plan's storage limit, you will not be able to store additional files. You can add extra storage directly from your account plan settings, upgrade to a higher plan, or free up space by removing existing data. Passwords are not affected by storage limits, they remain unlimited on all plans.

How secure is SecureSafe's encryption?

What is the difference between the Professional and Business plan?

The Professional plan is designed for teams that need individual password and file management under a shared plan, without shared team safes. The Business plan adds shared Team Safes and centralised permission management making it the right choice for teams that collaborate on documents or credentials across user groups.
